Become a son of God
Revelation 21:7
Hello, dear reader at the Prophetic Corner,
I hope that your new week is starting well. Last week, we discussed what you have heard about through your revelations and encounters; you can read about it here: https://adewaleonagbesan.substack.com/p/what-have-you-heard-about-jesus. In this new week, let us remind ourselves of the need to be conscious of our place in God.
One of the prophetic realities in this year 2025 is the spotlighting of the sons of God for great exploits and divine rewards. Romans 8:19 will be fulfilled this year. It is also a year of the return of prodigal children and vagabonds to God. So, if you are truly a son, take your place seriously. And if you have lost your place as a son, your heavenly Father is very interested in you – come back to Him now.
Your sonship in God is an eternal promise through the resurrection of Jesus Christ (Acts13:32-33). To activate this sonship, you must first believe in and receive Jesus Christ who is the Son of the Highest and the firstborn as your LORD and Saviour (Jn1:12). You must also believe in the name of Jesus Christ, and when you do this, you receive the divine empowerment to live as a son of God (1Jn3:23). According to Jesus, believing in Him as the One whom God sent is a major work God wants from us (Jn6:29).
You must also be baptized (both water baptism and Holy Ghost baptism). This is very important because even Jesus Christ our LORD was baptized by John in Jordan. It is something that God requires, it opens the heaven over one’s life and endue you with the Spirit of God. And the same way God was pleased with Jesus Christ, He will be pleased with you as well (Mt 3:13-17, Gal3:27). You need the Spirit of God to fulfil your sonship, and you must be led by His Spirit (Rom 8:14, Gal 5:16-18). Also, you must love others as God and Jesus Christ have demonstrated (Jn 3:16, 13:34).
When you become His son, your sins will be forgiven (Mt9:2). Also, you shall do greater works than Jesus Christ did (Jn 14:12). Also, know that you may face some opposition from your adversaries because of your bright star but you will surely emerge victorious (Mt2:1-12).
