Greater Things Than This (2)
John 1:50
Hello, my dear friend,
I trust you had a great weekend and your new week is starting well. I pray that you shall have a divine visitation that will elevate your destiny, in Jesus’ name. Last week, we started a series on “Greater Things Than This” which you can go back to here:
For this week, we will examine various examples of the greater things that Jesus was referring to. What are these greater things? They include the following:
i. For as many that believe and accept Jesus, they shall do greater works much more than He did.
ii. With faith, you can utter a command to anything and it will manifest (Mt21:21)
iii. You can demonstrate wonders and awesome things through the name of Jesus (Lk10:1,17)
iv. There is no room for impossibility (Mt17:20)
v. Showing love in the demonstration of the gifts of the spirit, understanding of mysteries and knowledge, and manifesting faith (1Cor13:2)
vi. The casting out of the devil, and stepping on serpents and no deadly thing can hurt you (Mk16:17)
vii. Demonstration of spiritual gifts (1Cor12:1-11)
viii. Having power over all devils, curing diseases, and doing healing in the name of Jesus (Mt10:1).
ix. Preaching the gospel and expanding the kingdom of God (Acts6:4-7).
x. Having Apostolic encounters, the presence of the Holy Ghost, and speaking in tongues (Acts2:4, 10:46-48, 19:6).
Here is the major point – if you don’t have Jesus in you, you cannot do greater things (Acts19:13-16). So, in all you do this week, do everything possible to draw closer to God and have a fellowship with him. It is my prayer that the God of all possibilities shall visit you this week in the name of Jesus.
