Who are the Blessed?
Hello, dear reader at the Prophetic Corner,
I hope that your new week is going well. In last week's Prophetic Corner message, we learned about sitting at the feet of Jesus Christ. You can read more about it here: https://adewaleonagbesan.substack.com/p/at-the-feet-of-jesus. In this new week, let us know about what the Bible says about who the blessed are.
The blessed are;
1. Those who put their trust in God (Ps2:12, 34:8, 84:12)
2. Those whose transgression/disobedience is forgiven and sin is forgiven (Ps32:1, Rom4:7)
3. Those whose sin is not counted against them by the LORD and are free from all deceit and live in complete honesty (Ps32:2, Rom4:8)
4. Those who are spiritual watchers for the LORD (Lk12:37-38, Mt24:42, 25:12
5. The faithful and wise stewards (Lk12:42-43, Mt24:46,
6. Those who are poor in spirit – who are meek, humble, and realize their need for God (Mt5:3,4, Ps37:11)
7. Those whose greatest desire is to do what God requires and be in right standing with Him (Mt5:6)
8. Those who are merciful unto others (Mt5:7)
9. Those who are pure in heart (Mt5:8, Ps24:3-4)
10. Those who are makers and maintainers of peace (Mt5:9, 44-45
11. Those who are persecuted for doing right and because they do what God requires (Mt5:10, 1Pet3:14
12. Those who are mocked, insulted, persecuted, and wrongly accused because of Jesus (Mt5:11, 1Pet3:14
13. Those who come in the name of the LORD (Ps118:26)
14. Those who do not look to, have confidence in, or respect the pride or idols and join those who worship false gods (Ps40:4
15. Those who consider and are kind to the poor and have regard for the weak (Ps41:1-2, Pr14:21)
16. Those whose eyes see the things of the kingdom and works of Christ (Lk10:23-24)
17. Those who have learned to acclaim the Lord and worship Him with songs (Ps89:15)
18. Those whom the Lord chooses and brings near to live in His courts/sanctuary (Ps65:4, 4:3, 33:12)
19. Those who dwell in the house and presence of the Lord of hosts and live in His Temple (Ps 84:4
20. Those whose strength is in and comes from the Lord and whose heart is set on a pilgrimage to Mount Zion/Jerusalem (Ps84:5)
21. Those who believed in, trusted, and relied on Jesus without seeing Him (Jn20:29, 3:15)
22. Those who the Lord disciplines/instructs and teaches out of His law/instructions (Ps94:12, Job5:17)
23. Those who keep and obey words, truths, and sayings of divine prophecy (Rev22:7, 1:3)
24. Those who do the commandments of the Lord (Rev22:14)
